TOC Analyzers measure total organic carbon in water by oxidising organic compounds to carbon dioxide and quantifying the gas with a non-dispersive infrared detector. UV-assisted wet chemical oxidation converts the sample, and TC, TIC, TOC and NPOC modes separate organic from inorganic carbon so results reflect organic contamination only. Detection reaches 5 ug/L and the measuring range extends to 10000 mg/L, with tolerance for salinity up to 85 g/L in brackish and process water. PC control stores methods and results for audit trails.
