Centrifuges separate blood components, cells, nucleic acids and sediments by spinning samples so denser material settles to the bottom of the tube. The range covers 22 types, from palm and mini centrifuges for 1.5 ml tubes through clinical, blood bank, gel card and PRP models to high speed refrigerated units reaching 30000 rpm and 64800 x g with capacities up to 6 x 1000 ml. Refrigerated models hold minus 20 to 40 degrees C to protect heat-sensitive samples, while microcentrifuges spin 1.5 to 5 ml tubes and PCR strips at up to 21380 x g. Typical uses include serum and plasma preparation, nucleic acid and protein isolation, cell culture, blood banking, pharmaceutical QC and water testing.
